Lasagne with Olives

Not very original but the only way my family will eat it.

Ingredients

  • 2 15 oz jars of spaghetti sauce
  • 1 1/2 lbs of ground beef
  • 1 med onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tb Italian seasonings
  • 10-15 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 box lasagne noodles
  • 1 lb mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 lb cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 container Ricotta cheese
  • 1 can black olives

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook lasagne noodles according to directions

2. Brown ground beef with chopped onion and garlic and Italian Seasonings until onion is translucent and beef is completely cooked. Drain.
Pour in sauce and add mushrooms to heat.

3. In 13x9 inch pan pour a layer of sauce on bottom, then a layer of noodles to cover the whole pan. Layer cheese and sauce. Repeat layers until pan is full, Ending with noodles.

4. On top of casserole sprinkle extra cheese and garnish with whole Black olives.

5. Place pan on top of jelly roll pan to catch the drippings.

6. Bake at 400 degree oven for about an hour. Let stand ofter cooking for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
