Spicy Cranberry Cream Cheese Wontons

A perfect use for that tiny bit of leftover cranberry sauce. Fry it up in these delicious, spicy wontons!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 jalapeños, seeded and minced
- 24 wonton wrappers
- 3 quarts vegetable oil, for frying

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat frying oil to 350ºF.
2. Pour some water into a bowl for wetting the wontons.
3. Working with one wonton at a time, add about a teaspoon of cranberry sauce and top with a small dollop of cream cheese. Sprinkle on some minced jalapeno.
4. Wet the wonton around the edges and crimp up the edges. Work out any air in the wonton as you crimp them. Seal the wonton tightly and repeat with all wontons.
5. Fry wontons in batches of 6-8 for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
6. Drain wontons on some paper towels and serve while warm.
