Ingredients

  • 4 cups of fresh peaches, peeled, pitted and chopped finely
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 7 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 1 package of liquid pectin

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare jars per canner instructions.
In a large sauce pan add peaches, sugar and lemon juice stir until combined. Place on stove on high heat and stirring constantly. Once jam comes to a hard boil, you cannot stir the bubbles away, add pectin and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat and skim off foam.
Working quickly pour into jars and place in water bath per canner instructions
