Chickpeas - Sweet Roasted

  • 1 15 oz can chickpeas (drained & rinse)
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1 tsp agave nectar
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 2 T basil



Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Toss peas in a bowl with oil, agave and vinegar. Sprinkle with cinnamon and chili powder. Place into oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with fresh basil.
