Lentil Soup with Sausage and Vegetables

Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer,
covered, for 1 hour.

• 6 cups water
• 2 cups Meat Sauce (see Classic Spaghetti
• with Meat Sauce recipe)
• 1/2 lb. lentils
• 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
• 2 stalks celery, sliced
• 1 large onion, chopped
• 3 cubes Knorr Chicken or Tomato Chicken
• Bouillon
• 1 tsp. dried basil
