Pear and goat cheese crostini

Ingredients
- 1/2 cups coarsly chopped walnuts
- 1 T plus 1 tsp honey
- 1 T brown sugar
- 3 large bosc pears--peeled, halved lengthwise into wedges
- 1 T butter chilled and cut into pieces.
- One 12" baguette, sliced 1/2" thick and toasted
- 6 oz soft goat cheese
- 1 cup baby arugula
- evoo for drizzling
- coarse sea salt for sprinkling

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with parchment. In a small bowl, toss the walnuts with honey. Toss with the brown sugar to coat. Arrange in a single layer on teh prepared baking sheet and roast, stirring once, until slightly candied, about 7 minutes. Transfer to a plate to cool. Discard parchment.
Increase oven temperature to 400 degrees. Arrange pears in a single layer on the baking sheet. Top with butter and drizzle with 1 T honey. Roast, tossing occasionally, until tender and golden, about 25 minutes.
Spread one side of toast with goat cheese and top with arugula. Drizzle with evoo and top with pear slices. Sprinkle with candied nuts and sea salt.
