Ingredients
- 8 lbs. of sliced pears
- 8 cups of sugar
- 4 cups white vinegar
- 2 cups water
- 8 - 2 inch cinnamon sticks
- 2 T. whole cloves
- 2 T. whole allspice
- (Combine spices and place in cheesecloth)
- Combine all ingredients in very large pot.

Step 1
Simmer until pears are soft, but not to soft. Place in jars with one stick of cinnamon in each jar. Boil 20 minutes with lid on.
