Ingredients
- 2 Whole cloves of Garlic
- 3 plum tomatoes cut into 4 wedges each
- 8 oz of sour cream and chives soft cream cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon of Oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- Olive Oil

Preparation
Step 1
Slice the top quarter of each garlic head DO NOT SEPARATE OR PEEL
Place in the center of an 8 inch baking dish ( I use a pie pan)
Surround with the tomato slices, drizzle with olive oil
Cover and bake at 425 for 40-45 minutes or until garlic is soft and golden brown.
remove from heat and let cool
Gently squeeze the garlic from the root end to remove the cloves to a separate dish chop the tomatoes and add, add the cream cheese and the seasoning, mix well and chill until ready to serve
This is great served with homemade pita chips, you can make by slicing pita bread or flour tortillas and bake
