Potato Rolls or Bread
This recipe is from Nana, Don's grandmother. He loved her baking.

Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes, mashed and warm
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c shortening or butter
- 7 c flour
- 1 package yeast dissolved in 1 c warm (110 degree) water

Preparation
Step 1
Mix ingredients in a large bowl in order given. Let rise in a warm place covered with a towel until doubled. Punch down dough, shape and freeze, or form 30 rolls or 2 loaves of bread and let rise again.
Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until nicely browned.
*** If you double this recipe, you do not need to double the butter/ shortening.
