Beef Taco Pasta

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 lb. hamburger
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 15-oz. can diced tomatoes, Mexican style
- 1 can diced green chilies
- 2 cups beef broth
- 8 oz. wide egg noodles
- 1 small can sliced black olives
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Cook onion and garlic in olive oil in a large pot for 2-3 minutes. Add hamburger and continue cooking until browned.
Add chili powder, cumin, oregano, pepper, tomatoes, and chilies. Stir to combine. Add beef broth and noodles. Allow to come to a simmer and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes. Taste to see if noodles are tender. Add drained olives and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted.
