Cream Cheese Pound Cake with Vanilla Glaze

Ingredients

  • Glaze:
  • 1 1/2 c butter
  • 1 pkg. cream cheese
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 t. vanilla
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/8 t. salt
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 t. vanilla
  • 1 T. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Beat butter and cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add sugar, beating 5 to 7 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Combine flour and salt and add to mixture. Pour batter into a fluted tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Glaze:
Mix ingredients and pour over cooled cake. Glaze should be thin.
