Preparation

Step 1

In bread machine pan, place first 10 ingred. in order suggested by manufacterer. Select dough setting (check dough after 5 min of mixing; add 1 to 2 tbsp of water or flour as needed). Just before final kneading (your machine may signal this), add cranberries. When cycle is completed, turn dough onto lightly floured surface. Cover and let rest for 15 min. Roll or pat into 1/2 inch thickness, cut with a 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter. Place in a greased 15 inch x 10 inch x 1 inch baking pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place until almost double, about 40 min. Bake @ 375 degrees for 10-15 min. or until slightly brown. For glaze, combine confectioners sugar and enough orange juice to achieve a glaze consistency. Drizzle over warm biscuits. Sprinkle with chopped cranberries if desired.
