Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen hash browns
  • 2 small cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1/4 c chopped onion
  • 2 T of butter melted
  • 2 c grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 c cornflakes cereal
  • 1/4 c butter

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and melted butter, in a large casserole dish until blended. Then add onion, cheese, and hashbrowns. Cover and place in oven @ 350 for 45 minutes. In a small bowl, place cornflakes and remaining butter and microwave for 1 minute or until butter is melted. Stir cereal until well coated with the butter. Remove the casserole from the oven and stir well. Sprinkle the cereal on top and return to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 15 minutes.
