- 2 T. bacon drippings
- 4 c. shredded red cabbage
- 2 c. cubed unpared apple
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/2 t. caraway seeds

Preparation
Step 1
Heat bacon drippings and saute red cabbage until warm. Add apples, brown sugar, vinegar and water and cover and simmer until tender. Add salt and caraway and serve warm.
