Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar, firmly packed
- 2 Tbs. Flour
- 1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. Ground Allspice (optional)
- 1 Tbs. Butter or Margarine
- Muffin:
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 Tbs. Baking Powder
- 1/8 tsp. Salt
- 2 Egg Whites
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 3 Tbs. Butter, melted
- 3/4 Cup Blueberries, fresh or frozen

Step 1
Topping: Stir together brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and allspice. Mix in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside.
Muffins: Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, combine egg whites, milk and melted butter. Add to flour mixture all at once and stir until combined. Fold in blueberries. Fill each muffin cup about 3/4 full. Sprinkle with streusel topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Yields: 12 muffins.
