Baked Pumpkin Doughnuts

Ingredients
- Doughnuts:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup canned or fresh pureed pumpkin
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter at room temperature
- Icing:
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 3-4 tsp milk

Step 1
Doughnuts:
In a medium mixing bowl whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and baking soda.
Add the pumpkin, eggs, milk, and butter; mix together thoroughly.
Spoon the mixture into mini donut baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool doughnuts on a cooling rack.
Icing:
In a mixing bowl whisk together powdered sugar and vanilla. Whisk the milk in to make a glaze. Drizzle the icing over the doughnuts.
Sprinkle top with assorted toppings (sliced almonds, coconut, sprinkles, etc.)
