  • 1 bag puff corn
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 2/3 cup lite corn syrup
  • 1-1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Step 1

Heat oven to 250 degrees. Put puff corn in large roasting pan. Heat butter, corn syrup and brown sugar in a 2 quart or larger saucepan until it comes to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Add bakng soda and stir thoroughly. Pour over puff corn and mix well. Cook in oven for 45 minutes stirring every 10 to 15 minutes. Turn out onto wax paper and let cool. Keep in tight container.
