  • Piecrust dough, homemade or store bought
  • apples
  • lemon juice
  • sugar
  • blue cheese
  • honey
  • fresh thyme

Preparation

Step 1

Roll out dough to 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 2x4 inch rectangles. Poke a few holes in the dough with a fork.
Slice the apples thinly and toss with a little lemon juice. Spread the apples across the rectangles.
Sprinkle with a little sugar and bake in a 425 degree oven for 15 min.
Top each bar with 2 tsp crumbled blue cheese, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with fresh thyme.
