Gluten-Free Ginger Berry Crisp

Ingredients
- 4 Cups fresh or frozen berries (we used raspberries and blueberries)
- 1/4 Cup CRYSTALLIZED GINGER or SWEET GINGER BITS
- 1 Cup almond flour
- 1/4 Cup coconut oil or butter
- 1 tsp. PURE VANILLA EXTRACT
- maple syrup, to taste (we used 2 TB)
- whipped cream or ice cream, optional

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°. Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish. Place the berries and GINGER in the baking dish. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, oil or butter, VANILLA and syrup and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle the topping over the berries. Bake at 375° for 30-40 minutes, until slightly browned. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
