Ingredients
- Cake Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 apples, cored and chopped
- 1/2 cup pecanss, Chopped
- Optional Praline Glaze Ingredients:
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 deg F.
Cream butter and sugars, and beat in eggs.
Stir in sour cream, banana and vanilla.
In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda and cinnamon.
Gradually add to butter mixture.
Gently stir in apples and nuts.
Spoon into greased bread pan and bake 1 hour. (If using a bundt pan, reduce baking time to 45 minutes)
Optional Praline Glaze:
Place butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and let boil gently for 1 minute. Remove from stove and stir for one more minute. Pour over the top of the cake.
Another option is to sprinkle the top of the Apple Banana Bread with powdered sugar.
