Ingredients
- 1/2 cup lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
- finely grated zest from 1 lemon
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water

Step 1
Stir all ingredients together until sugar dissolves. Mixture should be fairly tart. If necessary, add more sugar to taste. Pour lemon juice into a large sealable freezer bag and put in freezer. Once mixture begins to freeze (about 45 mins.), squish and rub sides of bag together without opening to break up crystals. Return to freezer. Repeat every 45 mins. until mixture is completely frozen into chunky ice crystals. To serve, remove from freezer, if necessary break up again using a fork. Spoon into dessert bowls and serve immediately.
