Ingredients
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 c. + 2. Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk (buttermilk is good, too)
- 1/2 c. margarine, melted
- 3 lg. eggs, beaten

Preparation
Step 1
Mix dry ingredients together.
In a separate bowl, combine milk, margarine and eggs.
Make a well in the center of dry ingredients and pour in milk mixture. Mix until moist but lumpy (don't over-mix).
Pour into a greased 9x9" pan. Bake at 425 for 25 minutes.
Don't forget the honey butter!
