    pounds littleneck clams

  • 2

    shallots, sliced

  • 4

    cloves garlic, sliced

  • 1/4

    cup chopped parsley

  • 1

    cup white wine

  • 1 1/4

    sticks unsalted butter, sliced

Directions

MAKES 5 SERVINGS. Heat a grill. Make foil packets---Tear off 5 pieces of foil. For each packet, pull up edges to form a bowl shape, put 10 clams in each packet. Divide shallots, garlic, and parsley among packets. Drizzle each with 3 tbs wine, top with 2 tbs butter, season. *Gather edges of foil at top, crimp to seal. Place packets on grill, cook until clams open. Discard any unopened clams. SERVE straight from the packet & ENJOY...
