Strawberry Jam Turnovers

Quick and simple breakfast treat.

Ingredients

• 1 8-oz package refreigerated crescent
• rolls
• Confectioners sugar
• 1 large egg white, beaten
• 1/3 cup whipped cream cheese
• 1/4 cup strawberry preserves

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. On a cookie sheet, separate dough into 4 rectangles; pinch diagonal seams closed; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon confectioners sugar. Spoon 1/4 cream cheese and 1/4 preserves in center of each. Brush edges with egg whites. Fold corners to center; press. Brush tops with egg whites. Bake 15 to 20 minutes until golden. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Best eaten warm.
