Fresh Peach Cobbler

  • 4 cups of peaches - pealed, pitted and sliced (I used 5 average sized peaches)
  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar, divided
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, very soft
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water



Step 1

Grease a 9x13 pan and line with peaches
Combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, butter, vanilla and milk
stir until smooth
Pour over peaches. (It will be thick, just spread it around the best you can )
Combine 1 cup sugar and water
Pour over batter
Bake 45 minutes to one hour at 350 degrees.
Serve warm!!
