Ingredients
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup of oatmeal
- 1-1/2 sticks butter
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups chopped walnuts
- 2/3 cup craisins

Preparation
Step 1
Whisk flour, salt, and baking soda in a bowl. Then stir in oatmeal. Put aside.
In a medium bowl, beat butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add egg and beat until mixed. When mixed well beat in vanilla.
Add craisins and chopped walnuts by hand and mix well.
Spread dough in a lightly greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly browned. It will still be soft, but will harden as it cools. When cool, break into chunks and serve over baked apples, topped with whipped topping.
