Blueberry Buttermilk Bundt Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter (room temp)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp grated orange peel
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 buttermilk
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • Powdered sugar optional

Preparation

Step 1

Whisk dry ingredients together. Beat butter and sugar, add eggs,peel and vanilla. Alternate adding milk and dry ingredients into sugar mixture. Bake for 1 hours at 350 degrees in buttered and floured 10 inch bundt pan.


Optional...add almond extract instead of peel and vanilla. Drizzle almond glaze over top of cake instead of icing sugar.

Baked when tester comes out dry.
