Tomato-Basil Pizza

  • 3/4 - 1 cup peeled, seeded and chopped tomato
  • 8 fresh basil leaves, torn into 1/2" pieces
  • Cheese (of your choice)
  • olive oil

Step 1

Brush pizza lightly with olive oil. Place tomatoes on top then the cheese. Bake for approx. 15 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle basil over pizza.

Pizza:

Place pizza stone and tray in oven to preheat at 450 degrees.

Roll out dough into 12 inch circle. Lay the dough on a flat cookie sheet that has been lightly dusted with corn meal. Put on desired toppings. Slide onto heated stone and bake for about 15 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
