Orange Sesame Chicken - in the Slow Cooker

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 4 lbs chicken thighs, boneless, skinless
  • 2/3 cup honey bbq sauce
  • 2/3 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce, reduced sodium
  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tbsp sesame seeds, toasted

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place flour in a large resealable plastic bag. Add the chicken, a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat. Transfer to a 4 or 5 quart slow cooker.

2. In a large bowl, combine the bbq sauce, marmalade, orange juice, soy sauce, ginger and pepper flakes. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until meat is tender. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Serve with or over rice.
