Ingredients

  • FOR COOKIES:

  • 3

    cups flour

  • 1

    teas baking powder

  • 1

    teas cinnamon

  • ½

    cup sugar

  • ½

    cup packed light brown sugar

  • 2

    sticks salted butter, softened

  • 2

    large eggs

  • 2

    teas vanilla extract

  • ¼

    cup apple juice

  • ½

    cup apple butter

  • 1

    cup chopped tart apples

  • 6

    oz raisins

  • 4

    oz pecans, finely chopped

  • FOR CRUMB COATING:

  • cups light brown sugar

  • cups quick oaats

  • teas cinnamon

  • 9

    tblsp butter melted

Directions

In bowl combine flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Mix sugars and butter add eggs and vnailla blend until smooth. Thoroughly incorporate apple juice and apple butter. Add flour mixutre, apples, raisins, and pecans. Combine sugar, oats and cinnamon mix well then add butter until dry ingredients are well moistened. Roll dough into i inch balls. Roll each ball in crumb mixture. Bake 24-26 minutes on ungreased sheet in preheated 300 degree oven or until cookies are firm to touch and coating begins to brown.
