Crescent Cherry Cheese Cobbler

Ingredients
- 1 tube crescent rolls
- 12 oz. (1 1/2 blocks) cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar divided
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
Spray an 8x8" dish with nonstick spray.
Unroll crescent rolls. Line 4 on the bottom of the dish and seal seams.
Combine cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar. Beat with electric mixer until smooth. Add vanilla and mix again. Spread mixture over crescent rolls in baking dish. Pour pie filling on top of cream cheese layer and spread evenly. Top with remaining crescent roll dough. Stretch out to edges and seal seams.
Pour melted butter on top of crescent rolls. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar evenly over top of butter.
Bake 35-45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
