Garlic Prawns

  • 200 grams of butter
  • 1/2 c chopped garlic
  • 24 large prawns, with or without shell
  • 6 drops tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp granulated dry garlic
  • 1 tsp of fresh, chopped parsley
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 oz dry white wine
  • a pinch of flour


Servings 4


Step 1

Add 150 grams of butter and garlic to frying pan over medium heat. As butter melts, add prawns and saute for two to three minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remaining seasonings, lemon juice and wine. Continue sauteing for about five minutes. Mix remaining butter with flour the add to pan until sauce thickens. Serve on a large platter.
