Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups unbleached flour
  • 1/2 T. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 t. cinnamon
  • 1/2 t. baking powder
  • 1 T. baking powder
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
  • 2 T. pumpkin butter
  • 1/2 cup eggnog
  • 1 cup pecan pieces

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a loaf pan.

Mix butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at time, mixing until blended. Add pumpkin puree and pumpkin butter and blend until smooth.

In a separate bowl mix dry, sifted ingredients. Add dry mix a little at a time alternating with milk. Once blended, stir in nuts.

Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until toothpick in center of bread comes out clean.
