Ingredients

  • 4 cups (1 lb.) shredded sharp
  • Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, grated 2 Tbsp. milk
  • Cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 cups Sunnyland Small Pecan Pieces
  • 3/4 cup strawberry preserves

Step 1

Combine cheese, onion, milk, pepper and mayonnaise. Stir in pecans until well blended. Pat mixture into a round container or serving plate, forming a slight rim around the top edge. Refrigerate until well chilled.
Just before serving, fill center with strawberry preserves. Serve with assorted crackers. Yield: about 7 1/2 cups.
