Greek pastry made with filo, honey, nuts and butter
- Filling:
- 4 sticks unsalted butter
- 1 package filo dough
- 3 cups finely chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 cup sugar
- Syrup:
- 1 cup honey (orange honey is best)
- 1 cup sugar
- juice of one lemon plus water to equal 1 cup
- 1 cinnamon stick

Stir flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in small bowl
- 2 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 cup Peanut Butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup firmly packed Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla

- 5 T Butter
- 1 c sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 1/2 c chopped dates
- pinch of salt
- 2 1/2 c Rice Krispies
- 1 c chopped nuts - pecans or walnuts
- Red Sugar Crystals
- Green icing in tube
Baked Beef Brisket - Chris Abell

- 4 lbs Boneless Beef Brisket
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 3 Large Onions, thickly sliced
