- 3 cups cold milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 4 bananas, sliced
- 1/2 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers

Combine eggs and sugar in a large bowl; set aside

- 1-2/3 c. sugar
- 1-1/4 c. unsalted butter, diced and softened
- 2 T. kirsch liqueur or blackberry syrup

- 2-1/2 c. all-purpose flour, divided
