- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 4 dozen freshly shucked clams
- 1/2 cup cake flour
- 5 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
- Oil for frying
Slow Cooker Sausage and Peppers

1. Cook Sausage in heavy skillet over medium heat until browned, turning occasionally
- 2 lbs Sweet or Hot Italian Sausages
- 2 Onions chopped
- 2 Green Peppers, cut into 2 inch pieces
- 1 red Bell Pepper, cut into 2 inch pieces
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 14 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1/2 cup dry red wine or beef broth
- 1 Tbs dried Italian Seasoning
- 1/4 tsp pepper
