- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons fresh chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 2 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan, plus extra for garnish
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper

- 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1 stick butter or margarine, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup molasses
