Sugared Tortilla Cups

Preheat oven to 375. Lightly brush both sides of tortillas with melted butter and sprinkle both sides with sugar
- 6 flour tortillas (6 inch)
- 2 Tbs. butter
- 2 Tbs. sugar
- 3 Tbs. brown sugar
- cinammon if desired
Texas Two-Meat Slow Cooker Chili

In a large bowl, mix beef, turkey and flour until evenly coated
- 1/2 lb. boneless beef chcuk steak cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 T. vegetable oil
- 2 10oz. cans of tomatoes with green chiles
- 1 12oz. bottle of beer
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 T. chili powder
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. ground cinammon
White Chili

Combine all ingredients except last 3 in slow cooker
- 3 15oz. cans great northern beans, drained
- 8 oz. cooked and shredded chicken breast
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 c. chopped yellow, red or green pepper
- 2 jalapenos, stemmed, seeded & chopped (optional)
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 3 1/2 c. chicken broth
- Sour Cream
- Cheddar Cheese
- Tortilla chips
Leeks

Halve leeks lengthwise (white and light green parts only) Separate layers and rinse well

- 2 Tbs. butter
- 3/4 c. water

- 3 celery stalks, diced medium

- 1 small red onion, diced medium

- 1 sprig oregano
- 1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 2 1/2 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
- 1 Parmesan rind (optional), plus 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan for serving

- 1 can (15.5 ounces) cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
