- 1 tablespoon salt

- 3 cups wheat flour

- 1/4 cup lemon juice, fresh

- 4 scallions, finely minced
- 1 cup parsley, packed
- 12 leaves mint, minced
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1 medium yellow bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium orange bell pepper, diced

Easy Cheesy Biscuits

***-My family isn't fond of Asiago cheese, so I leave it out and make mine with double cheddar
- 3 cups flour (pack it down in cup when you measure)
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar (this is important)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup strong cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup Asiago cheese***
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese for a topping (use real Parmesan cheese-it's so much better than the type in the can)

- 1 1/4 Cups oats, rolled (raw), quick cooking
- 1/4 Cup Flour
- 1 1/2 Cups skim dry milk
- 1 Cup Applesauce, unsweetened
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 Cup sugar substitute, Splenda
Buttermilk White Bread Recipe: Makes 4 loaves

Makes 4 loaves Add buttermilk and water to a saucepan
- 10-12 cups bread flour
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 1/2 tsp dry yeast (rapid rise if possible)
- 2 cup water
- 2 2/3 cup buttermilk (I use 2 2/3 cup water and 9 TBS buttermilk powder)

- 2 sticks of butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 eggs

- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 can pumpkin
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 TBS cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
