Olive Garden Salad Dressing

Instructions Combine all ingredients in a bowl
- 1 packet Good Seasonings Italian Dressing Mix
- 3/4 cup oil (vegetable/canola)
- 1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp white vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 Tbsp mayonnaise (not miracle whip)
BLT Salad

combine all ingredients and toss
- 2 serving
- Tear up or shred a cup of iceberg lettuce
- Tear up or shred a cup of spinach leaves
- 4-6 slices pre cooked bacon
- 1 tomatoe - chopped
- 1/2 c low fat shredded cheddar
- 1/4 cup favortie creamy salad dressing
Pasta with Fish, Shrimp and Scallops (7 ww pts)

Cook pasta according to directions and set aside
- 8 oz fresh pasta
- 1 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
- 16 oz combination of cod, shrimp and scallops cut into bite size pieces
- 1/2 med onion chopped
- 1/2 bell pepper chopped
- 1-2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 can rotel tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- dash of salt and pepper
Middle Eastern Grilled Chicken Pita Sandwiches with Yogurt Mint Sauce

In a bowl whisk together the yogurt, the lemon juice, the garlic paste, the thyme, and pepper to taste
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced and mashed to a paste with a pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crumbled
- 8 skinless boneless chicken thighs (about 1 1/2 pounds)
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- 1 garlic clove, minced and mashed to a paste with 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley leaves
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh mint leaves, or to taste
- 1 small red onion, sliced thin
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tomato, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted lightly
- 6 whole-wheat pita loaves
Dad's Clam Chowder

Fry bacon bits in large pan, when fried add onion and saute until browned
- 4 slices bacon diced
- 1 onion minced or chopped fine
- 1 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1 1/2 cup diced potatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- pinch of black peppe
- 1 can minced clams
- 1 1/2 cups milk-scalded
- 1/2 bay leaf
Greek Lamb Chops

Combine lemon juice, oil and seasonings
- 8 lamb chops
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 TBS oregano
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cloves garlic minced
Red White and Blue Potato Salad

Place fingerling and red potatoes in a saucepan; cover with water
- 6 servings
- 2 cups fingerling potatoes, halved lengthwise (about 10 ounces)
- 2 cups small red potatoes, quartered (about 10 ounces)
- 2 cups small blue potatoes, halved lengthwise (about 10 ounces)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 3 hard-cooked large eggs, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Carmel's Crunchy Pea Salad

Place bacon in a large, deep skillet
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen green peas, thawed and drained
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chopped cashews
- salt and pepper to taste
Garlic Artichoke Dip (very very garlicky)

Preheat oven to 350F. Cut top off bread and set aside
- 1 round loaf of bread unsliced (dark or sourdough)
- 5 green onions chopped
- 6 cloves of garlic finely minced
- 2 tbs butter
- 8 oz cream cheese room temperature
- 2 cups sour cream
- 12 oz shredded cheddar cheese (or your choice)
- 1 8 oz jar or can non marinated artichokes
Italian Sausage with peppers, onions and penne pasta

Heat oil in skillet then add onions, peppers and garlic
- For 2 servings
- 1 TBS extra virgin olive oil
- 2 to 3 fully cooked italian sausage (sweet, hot or a mixture of both)- sliced diagnolly about 1/4" thick
- 1 onion thinly sliced
- 1/2 red pepper thinly sliced
- 1/2 green pepper thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/4- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 2-4 TBS red wine
- salt and pepper
- penne pasta (enough for 2 servings)
- fresh basil
- shaved parmesan (optional)
