Caramel Pretzel Pecan Candy

Preheat oven to 250 degrees
- 16 ounce package mini pretzels
- 12 ounce bag of caramels
- 12 ounce bag of pecan halves
Creamcheese Brownie Bars

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Topping :
- 1 package Double Fudge brownie mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 8 ounces soft cream cheese
- 2 eggs
- 3 /12 cups ( 1 pound package )
- confectioner's sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Barbeque Crock Pot Beef Brisket

Combine salt, garlic powder, onion powder, celery seed, salt and pepper
- for sauce :
- 1 teaspoon each salt and chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon each onion powder,
- celery seed, and black pepper
- 2 1/2 pound beef brisket, trimmed of excess fat
- 1/2 cup each ketchup and chili sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons each Worcestershire sauce
- and cider vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon liquid smoke
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
Paprika Molasses Pork

Perfect over rice
- 1 pound boneless lean pork,
- cut into 3/4" cubes
- 2 teaspoons shortening
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- water as needed
Potato, Leek, Sausage Soup

Heat the olive oil at medium and saute the leeks until almost soft
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 chopped leek
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 3 peeled and sliced medium-sized carrots
- 2 cups peeled cubed potatoes
- 4 cups finely chopped cabbage
- 5 cups beef broth
- 8 ounces smoked sausage cut into small cubes
- 1/3 cup chopped parsley

- 1 cup uncooked wild rice, cooked

- 1 package frozen peas, thawed
- leftover roast beef or pot roast,

- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1/2 pound sliced and chopped mushrooms
- 1 package Knorr herb soup mix

This is my " light " version of a Paula Deen recipe
- 1 French bread loaf 13-16 ounces
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- dash of salt
- 1 stick softened butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 2 Tablespoons corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
