Barbeque Crock Pot Beef Brisket

  • for sauce :
  • 1 teaspoon each salt and chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon each onion powder,
  • celery seed, and black pepper
  • 2 1/2 pound beef brisket, trimmed of excess fat
  • 1/2 cup each ketchup and chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons each Worcestershire sauce
  • and cider vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard



Step 1

Combine salt, garlic powder, onion powder, celery seed, salt and pepper. Place brisket in crock pot. Rub mixture over the brisket. Pour half of the sauce around the brisket. Cook 4-5 hours at high, then cook at low until tender. Serve with the rest of the sauce on the side.
