Whole Wheat Banana Bread

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 3/4 cup honey
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 mashed overripe bananas
Quick Marshmallow Pops

Thread 2 marshmallows onto each craft stick; set aside
- 10-oz. pkg. marshmallows
- 12 white craft sticks
- 12-oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 T. shortening
- Garnish: candy sprinkles, toasted coconut and chopped nuts
Blackberry Buttermilk Pancakes

1 In 2-quart saucepan, beat cold water and cornstarch with whisk until cornstarch is dissolved
- Blackberry Syrup:
- 1/3 cup cold water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 1/4 cups fresh or frozen (thawed) blackberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Pancakes:
- 2 cups Original Bisquick® mix
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup fresh or frozen (thawed) blackberries, lightly mashed

Season the pork chops to taste with the adobo, oregano and cumin mix in 1 teaspoon of canola oil
- 8 pork chops, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tsp. canola oil
- adobo to taste
- 2 tsp. Canola oil
- 1 lb. kielbasa sausage
- A few sprigs cilantro
- 1/4 cup onions, chopped
- 1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp. sofrito
- 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
- 1 tbsp. Manzanilla olives
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 1 envelope sazón
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed

- 4 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon clear imitation vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 teaspoon butter extract

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 3 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Budin (Puerto Rican Bread Pudding)

In mixing bowl combine all ingredients until bread is moist
- 3 loaves day old or stale bread
- 2 (12 oz.) cans evaporated milk
- 6 eggs
- pinch of salt
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 T. ground cinnamon
- 1 T. vanilla
- 2 c. whole milk
- 2 cups raisins

Cook noodles according to package directions
- 5 cups uncooked egg noodles
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1-1/4 teaspoons pepper, divided
- 1 pound chicken tenderloins
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 celery ribs, chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1-3/4 cups half-and-half cream, divided
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
- 1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes

- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions (4 medium)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 teaspoon Thai red curry paste
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
- 1/2 cup Original Bisquick® mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup salted cocktail peanuts
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions (4 medium, if desired)

For the sauce: Puree the onion in a blender with 1/4 cup water
- BBQ Sauce:
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cups cider vinegar
- 6 ounces tomato juice
- 1/2 tablespoon pepper

- Pinch cayenne
- Dash hot sauce, such as Tabasco
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Roast:
- 2 medium sweet onions, such as Vidalia, quartered
- 2 teaspoons light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Pinch black pepper
- One 4- to 6-pound Boston butt pork roast, bone-in
