Crock Pot Apple Butter

Fill Crock-pot 3/4 full with peeled, cored and sliced apples
- Approximately 3 lb. apples ( make sure 1/2 are Granny Smith )
- Gala , Fugi, Or Granny Smith
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- Dash of salt
- 3/4 cup water or fresh apple cider
Neiman Marcus Bars

Mix cake mix and butter together and spread in bottom of 9 X 13 pan
- crust:
- 1 butter pecan cake mix
- 1 stick butter
- Filling:
- 3 1/2 C powdered sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 4 eggs
- Topping:
- 1/2 C chopped pecans
Hearty Berry Streusel Mufins

1. Prepare muffin tins with paper or oil
- Streusel:
- 1 C white flour
- 1/2 C spelt flour (or add another 1/2 C white)
- 1 C whole wheat flour
- 1 C oats
- 1 T baking powder
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 t sea salt
- 1 C honey (or raw sugar)
- 1 1/2 C plain yogurt
- 1 6-oz container raspberry or blueberry yogurt
- 3 T canola oil
- 2 t vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 C each fresh blueberries and raspberries
- 1/4 C flour
- 3 T brown sugar
- 1/4 C shopped, lightly toasted walnuts, pecans or almonds
- 1 1/2 C butter melted
Red, White and Blueberry Pie

- 1 graham cracker crust
- 4 oz white chocolate chips
- 3/4 C sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese
- 3/4 C p. sugar
- 3/4 C milk
- 1 pkg instant white chocolate pudding mix
- 1 C fresh blueberries
- 1 C fresh strawberries

Beat eggs slightly, add sugar, salt and milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 t sugar
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 C Carnation milk
- 1 C flour
Orange Sherbet Salad

1. In large bowl, stir together jello and 2 C of boiling water until jello is dissolved
- 1 - 6 0z pkg orange flavored jello
- 1 pint orange sherbet
- 1 -11 oz can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1- 20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained

In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt; cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
- Pastery:
- 3 C flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 C shortening
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 C milk
- Filling:
- 6 C sliced, peeled apples
- 1 1/2 C sugar
- 1/4 C butter or margarine, melted
- 2 T flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Glaze:
- 1 egg white, lightly beaten
- 1/2 C p. sugar
- 2-3 tsp water
- or
- cream cheese frosting (my preference)
Granola

1.Preheat the oven to 250 degrees
- 3 1/2 cups rolled oats (if you want bars use steel cut oats so it will stick together better)
- 1 cup raw sliced almonds
- 1 cup raw cashew pieces (or walnuts or pecans)
- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut (I could only find unsweetened at Earth Fare, which is similar to Whole Foods)
- 1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon grated or ground nutmeg
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Also need – parchment paper
Kringle

Mix flour and butter with pastry blender
- 3 C flour
- 1 1/2 C butter
- 12 oz sour cream
Mexican Cheese Dip

1. Line a small colander with 3 layers of cheesecloth or clean paper coffee filter
- 3 C Plain Yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 t ground cumin
- 1/2 t seasoned salt
- 1 medium red sweet pepper, diced
- 2 C frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
- 1 C canned black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 small tomato, seeded and chopped
- 2 T canned diced green chilies
- 2 C shredded Mexican cheese blend
- 1/4 C snipped fresh cilantro
- tortilla chips or cackers
