- 1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 container (16 oz.) sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 package dry vegetable soup mix
- 1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and chopped (optional)
- 3 green onions, chopped (optional)

1. In a blender, puree cheese, strawberries, yogurt and ginger together until smooth
- 8 ounces part-skim ricotta cheese
- 2 tablespoons plain non-fat yogurt
- 1/4 teaspoon dried, ground ginger
- 8 strawberries, halved
- 4 peaches, halved or quartered
- 8 chunks pineapple
- 4 plum, nectarines or papayas, halved
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar

This is a recipe for a real "Philly" butter cake
- For the cake:
- 1 tbsp. active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
- Grated rind of 1 lemon
- 4 eggs
- For the topping:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup blanched, slivered almonds (optional)
Blueberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake

- 1 cup butter, softened

- 2 eggs

- 1 lb. ground venison
- 1 can (14.5 oz.) whole tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 green pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup raw long-grain rice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 4 slices American cheese, cut in pieces
