LINGUINE WITH SHRIMP AND WHITE WINE

Loved this recipe! Super easy and quick
- Coarse salt and ground pepper
- 2 ounces linguine (about a 1/2-inch-wide handful)
- 1 tablespoon cold butter, cut into pieces
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Red-pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- Fresh parsley leaves, for garnish
BEAN VEGETABLE SOUP

In a Dutch oven, saute the carrots, onions and celery in oil until tender
- 3 medium carrots, sliced
- 1-1/2 cups chopped onions
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) chicken broth
- 2 cans (15 ounces each) navy or great northern beans, rinsed and drained, divided
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup fresh baby spinach, optional

In medium saucepan, combine cornstarch, flour, 1 3/4 cups sugar and the salt, mixing well
- Lemon Filling:
- Pastry for one crust pie.
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 3 Tbsps flour
- 1 3/4 cups sugar

- 4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup lemon juice

- 4 egg whites

BOBBY'S GOULASH

In a Dutch oven, saute the ground beef and ground turkey over medium-high heat, until no pink remains
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 3 cups water
- 1 (29-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 (15-ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 3 bay leaves
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon House Seasoning, recipe follows
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
- 2 cups dried elbow macaroni
KANSAS CITY RIB SAUCE

This is a rich, thick, tomato based barbecue sauce recipe often associated these days as Kansas City Style
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
MEAT LOAF

Mix all ingredients together
- 1-1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 up milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup c hopped onion
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 lb. mild cheddar cheese, diced
BEEF STEW

In a large bowl, toss beef with flour, salt and pepper to coat evenly
- 3 lb. boneless stewing beef, cut into 1” cubes
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups red wine
- 1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
- 3 fresh thyme sprigs
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 carrots, peeled and cut into 1/2" pieces
- 2 celery stalks, cut into 1/2" pieces
- 1/2 lb. new potatoes, cut into 1/2" pieces
- 1 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1-1/2 cups beef stock
ITALIAN SEASONING

- 3 tablespoons dried basil
- 3 tablespoons dried oregano
- 3 tablespoons dried parsley

- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
ZUCCHINI BREAD - KELLY

Beat eggs; add oil, zucchini, sugar and vanilla
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup salad oil
- 3 cups zucchini, peeled
- and grated
- 3 cups flour (use 1/2 whole wheat)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tsps vanilla
- 3/4 - 1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 425°. Place potatoes and carrots in a large saucepan; add water to cover
- 2 cups diced peeled potatoes
- 1-3/4 cups sliced carrots
- 1 cup butter, cubed
- 2/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1-3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 3/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 4 cups cubed cooked chicken
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 2 packages (14.1 ounces each) refrigerated pie pastry
