  • 1 box raisin bran (15 oz)
  • 5 cups plain flour
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 T cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 5 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 4 eggs - slightly beaten
  • 1 cup oil (I use 1/2 canola and 1/2 coconut oil)

  • 1 pound French green lentils
  • 4 cups chopped yellow onions (3 large onions)
  • 4 cups chopped leeks, white part only (2 leeks)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (3 cloves)
  • 1/4 cup good olive oil, plus additional for drizzling on top
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh thyme leaves or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3 cups medium-diced celery (8 stalks)
  • 3 cups medium-diced carrots (4 to 6 carrots)
  • 3 quarts chicken stock
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1 jar Rotel tomatoes
  • Red Pepper flakes to taste
  • 2 tablespoons red wine or red wine vinegar
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 5 whole large red potatoes

  • 13 graham crackers (crushed)
  • 3 Tbs. sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter (melted)
  • Press in 8 inch square pan
  • Filling:
  • 2 8-oz pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Mix well; pour into graham cracker crust.
