Cook pasta according to package directions
- 4 oz fettuccine pasta
- 3/4 lb raw shrimp, peeled, deveined and tails removed
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 1/4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 15 -to-6-pound first-cut or flat-cut brisket, cut into 3 pieces
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, smashed and peeled
- 112-ounce bottle stout beer
- 4 stalks celery, cut into large pieces
- 2/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup dijon mustard
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 bay leaves

Apple Butter-Red Hots

Wash, pare, quarter and core apples
- 9 c. cooked apples (about 18)
- 6 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1/8 tsp. cloves
- 1/4 tsp.cinnamon
- 1/2 c. Red Hots candy (be sure to get the Red Hots brand!..they come in a box at Walgreens and Walmart.)

Slice the onions and cook in 1/4 stick butter until soft and light brown
- 1 whole large (or 2 small) onions
- 2 sticks butter (I may cut this in half)
- 2 to 3 pounds cube steak (tenderized round steak that's been extra tenderized)
- Seasoned salt, such as Lawry's seasoned salt (or Tony C's for more zip)
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- Hot sauce, such as Tabasco
- Pepper-jack cheese (melted on top)
- 4 whole French/deli rolls (Earthgrains are best!)
