Cheesy Broccoli Potato Soup

You can serve this straight as a soup, but I always serve it over rice
- 4 medium baking potatoes, peeled and diced
- 10 ounces chopped broccoli
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- ground black pepper (LOTS)
- 6 cups milk
- 8 – 12 ounces Velveeta (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt (or to taste)
- 1 – 2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Crockpot Granola

Turn the crock on low and cover, but keep the lid ajar to let the steam escape
- Add the following:
- Fill your crockpot about 3/4 full of rolled oats.
- A bag of chopped walnuts, slivered almonds, or pecans. If the nuts are too big, I use my food processor to chop them up into smaller pieces.
- 1/2-1 About 1/2-1 cup of whole grain flour
- 1/4 cup ground flax seed
- A few sprinkles of salt
- Stir together.
- Mix the following in a saucepan:
- 1/2 cups of honey, maple syrup, or a combination thereof,
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of oil. I like to use coconut oil but olive oil works and you won’t taste it.
- 1/4 cup of water
- Heat this mixture over low heat until everything is melted and blended. Then pour it over the mixture in the crockpot and stir it in well.
7-Up Beef and Gravy, Slow Cooker

Place meat and mushrooms in slow cooker
- 2 lbs. beef (cut up cubed steak or beef tips)
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 cup of 7-up, or other lemon-lime carbonated drink
Jane's Easy Peasy Lasagne

Brown the meat and then add spaghetti sauce and cook as though you are going to make spaghetti
- 1 Large Ragu Traditional Sauce (2)
- 1 onion
- 1 fresh garlic/ or minced/ or garlic powder
- 1 pkg. of no bake lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. of ground turkey/beef
- 1 bag of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 small ricotta cheese tub
- 1-2 eggs

- 1 gallon water
- 1 cup course Kosher salt
- 1 cup sugar

- 1 t. sea salt
- 4 T. expeller-pressed coconut oil OR lard
- 3/4 cup warm milk (or whey or even water)
Farfalle with Mushrooms and Spinach

Cook farfalle according to package directions
- 6 ounces dried farfalle (bow-tie pasta)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup sliced portobello or other fresh mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups thinly sliced fresh spinach
- 1 teaspoon snipped fresh thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup half n half
- 2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
Tomato-Basil Pizza

Preheat pizza stone in 450 F oven
- 1 thin pizza crust
- 2 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 8 fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup shredded Asiago cheese
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
Evelyn's Baked Brie

Try different jams for different flavors with this baked brie recipe
- 1 small wheel Brie cheese
- 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, I used Pepperidge Farms
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup jam,. any flavor, Fig, Hot Pepper, Strawberry - personal preference
- 1 egg (mostly the yolk and a bit of water or milk)
- Non-stick foil

- Muffin Batter:
- 4 cups Flour
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup Shortening (can Use 1/4 Cup Shortening With 1/4 Cup Butter)
- 2 cups Orange Marmalade
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
